The co-founder of a fantasy golfing website was injured when an 18-foot sinkhole opened beneath him on the 14th fairway at an Illinois golf course. Mark Mihal, the co-founder of golfmanna.com, was playing last Friday and fell deep into the earth before being rescued by his playing partners and clubhouse crew. Because Mark hurt his shoulder in the fall, one of his playing partners volunteered to go into the hole to help him get out. And just like that it’s not even safe to golf anymore. I make light of it because Mark is going to be OK, but this is scary as hell. Honestly, I have no idea what I would think if this happened to me. I probably would think Hades is sucking me into the ten-level of hell. I would most likely never recover. Good thing Mark is OK.
