There's no such thing as a tough loss when the home team covers the spread.  One thing Grandma would never say?Mostly because Grams would ride any whip that could safely get her from point A to point B.Other food for thought in the wake of yesterday's glorious cover in Brownstown:  The defense sure looks decent when the offense gives it a chance to catch its breath.  And maybe Brandon McDonald, pulled from his starting role last week, was a bigger problem than we'd realized.Most importantly, it didn't look much yesterday like the 2009 Cleveland Browns have quit on Eric Mangini.  Not at all, really.Consider what that means given that popular opinion on these Browns generally held either that the Browns had, in fact, quit on their coach, or that the roster suffered from a fatal talent deficiency.  We believed going into the season that any supposed talent deficiency was overstated, but don't those who disagree have to be especially impresse...
