Green Bay Packers
Jacksonville St. Gamecocks
With the 10th pick in the 7th round of the 2013 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers selected Grand Valley State wide receiver Charles Johnson. Johnson, the 216th overall draft pick and the 24th receiver selected in this year’s draft, has already been quite the journeyman before he was drafted by Green Bay. Johnson, who played collegiate football at three different schools and three different levels, will look to break into a Packer receiving group highlighted by veterans James Jones, Jordy Nelson, and breakout star Randall Cobb.
Johnson, who is 24 years old, began his collegiate career in 2007 at Division I-AA Eastern Kentucky in 2007. In 11 games with the Colonels, Johnson caught three passes for 63 yards before he was suspended from the program. As a result, Johnson transferred from Eastern Kentucky to Antelope Valley Community College in Lancaster, California. In one season with the Marauders, Johnson caught 24 passes for 231 yards and three touchdowns. After two years of college fo...
BEST OF MAXIM
The Green Bay Packers are in a wonderful place in the cycle of sports: they get to be in “win now” mode for the foreseeable future, and can expect to be reaching for the brass ring every year as long as they have Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy at the helm. That doesn’t mean they don’t have questions to answer in training camp, though. These are the things the Packers will...
Brett Favre (Photo Credit: AP)
Almost five years ago, one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time was traded to the New York Jets. The divorce between Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers has been well documented. The Packers had Aaron Rodgers as the future of the franchise and were tired of Favre’s constant indecision about retirement. In 2007, Favre and the Packers had...
AND A-RODG AIN'T HAPPY
The sports world was all over the news out of Massachusetts yesterday regarding Aaron Hernandez. The Patriots TE was finally arrested early in the morning, then he was released by the team less than an hour later. Finally, in the afternoon it was revealed Hernandez would be charged with murder and not merely obstruction of justice as had been previously conjectured. NFL stars...
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. Rick Spielman's admiration of Ted Thompson is well-known, with the Minnesota Vikings front office boss appreciating the way Thompson has built the Green Bay Packers over the years.
Coincidentally, it's often led to Minnesota -- and Spielman since he's taken control as the team's general manager -- signing former Packers. The list continues with...
The Packers' passing game already lacks proven firepower, making Jermichael Finley a key piece to puzzle rather than an expendable piece to help the Patriots.
Since the 2006 NFL Draft, wide receiver Greg Jennings has been a prolific part of the Green Bay Packers offense. He was one of Brett Favre’s and Aaron Rodgers’ favorite targets, including catching Favre’s record breaking career touchdown pass. Now, Jennings has left the Packers for the team he caught that record touchdown against, the [...]

And I don't mean a "Killer of Vikings fans hopes and dreams" or anything like that, I mean a real life, shooty-shooty, stabby-stabby (not like THAT kind of stabbing though ... I don't think), kill kill kill, kind of murderer.
At least according to Jeremy Schaap and ESPN.
ESPN said - ON AIR - in a recent interview, that Aaron Rodgers was likely tied...
Live TV is harder than it looks.
It is even harder when you dealing with a serious issue like a NFL player being charged with 1st degree murder, so cut Jeremy Schapp a little slack here in this video provided by The Big Lead.
Aaron Rodgers was not amused.
Not funny ESPN

With no OTA’s, or free agents, or NFL draft, or training camp, Packers junkies are suffering heavy withdrawal this week. Join Kelly, Colleen and Richard as they discuss cake tasting, Desmond Bishop, Kevin Greene as a defensive coordinator, the Packers Sweep, horse-face John Elway, Finley’s baby mama drama < dumping a dead corpse, which Packer receiver will get 1,000 yards...
Some of the biggest news in the NFL in a long time came Wednesday that former New England tight end Aaron Hernandez was being charged with first degree murder eleven. While coving Hernandez’s arraignment, ESPN’s Jeremy Schaap, made a crucial error and confused Hernandez with current Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. “Certainly based on what we heard there is a...
Aaron Hernandez and Aaron Rodgers have very few things in common, but obviously their first name is one of them. Given the fact that Hernandez has been arrested and charged with murder, you can understand why Rodgers would not want to be associated with him an any way. Unfortunately, a slip of the tongue from [...]
Former Green Bay Packers-turned-Minnesota Vikings linebacker Desmond Bishop is excited to be facing Aaron Rodgers twice a year.
