PLAYERS: John Moffitt
TEAMS: Seattle Seahawks

What a day it was for John Moffitt this week the sophmore right guard of the Seattle Seahawks.

This week at the local Seattle Fox station Q13 FOX Moffitt tried his hand at broadcasting the weather with the help of Meteorologist M.J. McDermott.

He did look a little out of place in front of the camera but that's to be expected of a 6'4" 319lb lineman isn't it?

He also nudged his way into the Q13 Morning traffic segment. It all happened on live TV. Too good.

Here's the best quotes from John.

Quote: "Oh my god, this is an absolute mess right here, do we have need a 7 day forecast for Seattle? We could do a 7 year forecast!" Quote: "I"m not a meteorologist but I can make it rain!" Quote: "It's going to rain for the next 10 years in Seattle!" Quote: "Seattle 46 Cold and Rainly" Here's hoping John is ready to go to start the season. The Seahawks need him back on that YOUNG O-line that they've got in Seattle.

Moffitt started 9 games last year for Seattle.

Seahawks going back to old logo?

Some photos have come out showing that the Seahawks may be going back to their old logo and colors as they change uniforms.

Matt Flynn: Was he worth the risk?

Is Matt Flynn, now of the Seattle Seahawks, worth the 26 million-dollar contract with 10 million guaranteed? Or is it more likely that he will turn out to be what Kevin Kolb was to the Arizona Cardinals this year, a waste of money. Matt Flynn does have some very impressive credentials. In college he led

New NFL Logo and Jersey for Seattle

It's going to be a great week for longtime supporters of the Seattle Seahawks. PER Danny O'Neil from the Seattle Times. The Seahawks' new uniform is expected to have a third, alternate jersey that will be gray, according to a source. This jersey would be a third option to the blue, which is typically worn at home, and the white shirts often worn on the road. Wow are...

Seahawks may go with a gray alternate jersey

While it looks like we have an idea of what the new Seattle Seahawks logo will look, there’s also a rumor now that the Seahawks will have a gray alternate jersey that they’ll wear at home, according to Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times. On April 3rd, which is next Tuesday, we’ll find out what the Seahawks uniforms look like for the 2012 season and beyond, when Nike unveils...

Fantasy Focus: Can Marshawn Lynch Be Trusted?

Marshawn Lynch has been relatively inconsistent over the last few seasons. We are talking about a guy who put up more yards and touchdowns in 2011 (1,204 yards, 12 touchdowns) than the two previous seasons combined (1,187 yards, 8 touchdowns.) Fantasy owners everywhere are aware of the danger that lies in following the smoke of one hot season. There is a question mark next to...

Seahawks Offensive Depth Chart Breakdown

The Seahawks are off to a fairly predictable start this postseason with many moves that Pete Carroll and John Schneider hinted toward at the end of the 2011 season. The focus has been retaining the core group of players that Carroll refers to as “our guys.” Meaning guys that arrived after the Ruskell era, or in Red Bryant’s case, in a position that Carroll placed him into....

NFL Mock Draft: Seattle Seahawks

With Marshawn Lynch locked up and Matt Flynn signed to take over the Quarterback duties, it should be no surprise to watch the Seahawks focus heavily on defense in this draft. For starters the Seahawks need more help on the pass rush front, they only accumulated 33 sacks last season, and with Leroy Hill gone and more than likely David Hawthorn, they will need to re-stock the linebacker...

Dolphins weren’t convinced Matt Flynn is a franchise quarterback

According to Jeff Darlington of, a Miami Dolphins source told him that they only offered Matt Flynn $4 million per year because they weren’t convinced  he’s a franchise quarterback. The Seahawks ended up agreeing to pay Flynn $8 per season over three years. I believe the $8 million per year that the Seahawks agreed to pay Flynn, wasn’t a bad deal for either side....

Marshawn Lynch – The next Seattle movie star?

Beastmode has got range Marshawn Lynch is a Pro Bowl running back for the Seattle Seahawks that signed a big contract to stay in the Great Northwest and now he is branching out set to play in a move that will be filmed in Seattle. According to King-TV Lynch has signed on to play a role in the film “Matt’s Chance”, which is about a cowboy in his 20′s that is betrayed by his...

Marshawn Lynch turns Beastmode into movie role?

Marshawn Lynch is one of the more interesting athletes in the NFL today.  But, Lynch isn't necessarily one of the biggest football stars in the country.  Despite his quirky vices, his past celebrations that are certainly unique, and actual on-field accolades, Lynch isn't exactly a household name outside of Seattle.  If anything, Lynch is mainly known for this singular...
