SteelBlitz Steelers Blog:
The Steelers sure gave us a scare last night! Can you imagine living on the edge all the time? Unfortunately that is the reality for many patients suffering from cancers such as Leukemia and Lymphoma. Luckily there is hope and with your help this won’t have to be the reality for much longer.
I am raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as a participant in their Team In Training program and I’m asking you to help by making a donation to my fundraising campaign.
Please use the link at the bottom of this post to donate online quickly and securely plus learn more about my progress. You will receive a confirmation of your donation by email and I will be notified as soon as you make your donation.
Each donation helps accelerate finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Nearly 958,000 Americans are battling these blood cancers. I am hoping that my participation in Team In Training will help bring them hope and support.
On behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphom...

Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark announced on Wednesday that he has decided to change helmets after suffering two concussions in the past three games.
Clark will now wear the new Riddell Revolution Speed helmet that ranks highly in concussion testing. It is the same helmet that friend and fellow safety Troy Polamalu currently wears.
More and more players are switching to these...
The graphic department for ESPN certainly made an error tonight as the below graphic was used that showed ROETHLISBERGER with the words "DRINKANDDRUNK" underneath it. Obviously it was meant to say Dink And Dunk for the offense run by Ben Roethlisberger, instead of Drink And Drunk. The network quickly had it changed.
ESPN will likely issue an apology of sorts at some...
Ben Roethlisberger left the game on Monday Night against the Chiefs with what looked like a rib injury, he did not return.
In Tuesday’s Press Conference, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin indicated that Roethlisberger sustained a sprained Sternoclavicular, and that he was questionable moving forward.
A day after, the Steelers ruled Big Ben out, and announced QB Byron Leftwich would...
KNOCKIN' THEM BACK
Well, this is one of the more unfortunate snafus we've ever featured. Instead of a segment about Ben Roethlisberger's short passing game "Dink and Dunk", ESPN labelled it in their rundown as "Roethlisberger Drink and Drunk." Unlucky mistake or not-so-subtle dig at Roethlisberger's checkered past? Whatever the case, Chris Berman had to come on...
One of the very few highlights provided by Monday Night’s Football game between the Steelers and Chiefs came on an incredible TD catch by Mike Wallace. Check out the animated GIF version below which shows Mike using one hand to guide the ball between his legs, and then somehow holding on with those legs. Not too shabby, Mike.

Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark suffered a concussion during Monday night’s win over the Chiefs.
According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, it sounds like Clark might miss this week’s game against the Ravens.
Plenty more on Roethlisberger situation on @cbssports . Also, sounds like Ryan Clark may sit Sunday out after latest concussion

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger could miss extended time with a “serious” shoulder injury. (AP)
Per a tweet from NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger could miss extended time with a shoulder injury that is “serious” and “complicated.” The Steelers are keeping decidedly hush-hush regarding the status of their 2-time Super Bowl...
Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports reports that two sources have informed him that Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger suffered a separated shoulder during Monday night’s win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
“There’s a lot to be figured out and we probably won’t know anything definitive until the morning, but that’s what the [Steelers] team doctor said,” according to Cole’s source...
After the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Washington Redskins back on Oct. 28, Mike Shanahan thought he had been robbed of more than just a victory. Shanahan left his passport and $3,700 in an unsecured locker at Heinz Field during the game, and after the game was over they were nowhere to be found.
According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Shanahan was “visibly upset” when talking...
Willie Colon was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct in the first half of Monday Night Football between Colon's Steelers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Colon was flagged for cursing. We **** you not.
According to ESPN’s Rick Reilly, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was seen leaving Heinz Field tonight with his arm in a sling.
Asked Roethlisberger as he was leaving how bad his shoulder was. He just shook his head. Was wearing sling on right shoulder. Left w/ wife.
