Baron
As one of the last charity exhibition games of an extended NBA offseason. Baron Davis and Tina Thompson’s charity event featured players that all grew up in and around the City of Angels. Participants included; DeMar DeRozan, Matt Barnes (the announcer introduced Matt as the “newly single” Matt Barnes… that was weird), James Harden, Nick Young, Craig Smith, Trevor Ariza, Amir Johnson and more. Check out a few highlights:   Baron said the reason he and Tina decided to put together this game was a way to thank their LA family (not fans) that supported all the participants through their basketball journey in L.A. BD also addressed the rumors that he might be a victim of the amnesty clause”I know my name has come up with the amnesty thing, and a lot of people have said I’m going this place or I’m going that place. My whole thing is to be ready for the season to help any team that I’m on. I welcome any challenge.” Video via Ball Is Life photos via Amir Johnson and Cassey Athena  ...

Keep Baron Davis - Cavaliers Comment of the Day

"Why on Earth would we release our best player? Is our roster so star-studded to have that luxury? Do we have tons of young talent not being utilized? Boobie and Sessions are not the answers. They proved that last year. So who's going to show Irving the ropes? Davis has grown up a lot and is finally a true leader. I can't say that for any other player on the Cavs roster...

Nuggets, Afflalo in flux

It looks like Arron Afflalo will be playing basketball next month, which is why he didn’t play basketball Sunday.
