According to Ken Davidoff, outfielder Matt Holliday is open to playing in New York and will consider both the Mets and Yankees when he reaches free agency after the season. There is a chance that he could be traded by the Athletics, but he'll definitely test the market come November."Yeah, I would play here," Matt Holliday told Midweek Insider Tuesday night, before his A's 5-3 loss to the Yankees. "I'd have no problem playing here." "I just try to focus on what I can do today," he said. "But I have a wife and two kids. I'd like to provide some stability and a location for more than a couple of months here and there."
