Your Miami Hurricanes will open the 2011-12 college basketball season tonight at 7 PM at the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables with an exhibition game against Florida Southern.
The Hurricanes are led by first year head coach Jim Larranaga who <span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS"; font-size: 10pt;">was named the 12th head coach of the University of Miami men's basketball program on April 22, 2011. He comes to Miami after serving as the head coach at George Mason for 14 seasons.
