Philly Eagles

Sunday, January 5, 2014 You ever feel as If you were a Trout  or a science project getting Picked apart?
This is what I  see in Coaching, Here we have two coaches in their first year of coaching  ?
And it doesn't matter how good the season was, No sir  its  what I refer as "Simpletons"
Who wouldn't be able to coach  a  3 legged sack race?
First we have Chip Kelly who NO NFL  experience what so ever, and took as I read a Team from "worst to first" but  Lions an tigers and bear's oh my ? lost in the first  round?
Lets fly to the west coach and review what Mark  Helfrich   did at Oregon and posted a 11-2 mark?
To these  even though a hell of a  year, NOT GOOD ENOUGH?
Now before I  get hung, I must say sure I wanted the ducks in the national championship game  on Monday night and all eagles fans wanted Chip coaching in the super  bowl?
But it didn't happen, so what band wagon are you   headed for?

  • Every fan is going to be disappointed their team didn't make it farther than they did and want to discuss it...there is nothing wrong with that. Where you have to draw the line is with the fans that are never happy (we definitely have one of them here) and I'd also throw in the fan who has an extremely hypocritical outlook on their team...fans who are either Vick or Foles or Reid or Kelly for instance to the point they overlook ones faults and look and make up faults in the one they aren't openly backing (yeah, we got one...no two of them). All fans will be fans and complain from time to time but the whiners are the ones who aren't going to be happy no matter how successful the season is deemed. The two on here are whining because they've been pointing out the Eagles faults all year...in a weird way the whining is probably making them feel pretty good deep down thinking they are finally vindicated...high emphasis on thinking.
  • How can this "fan" be disappointed with a playoff appearance when he was happy with 8-8?
  • Choke Kelly inherited one of the most potent offenses in the NFL built by hall of fame coach Andy Reid. He won the worst division in football. He had home field advantage over an injured Saints team and he choked with his game calling by marching down the field and scoring with too much time left in the game. He easily could have worked that clock down so the Saints wouldn't have had all that time left. With the injuries, the Saints couldn't stop the Texans but Choke has that college mentality. Score,Score,Score. This was his first playoff performance and he lived up to his name. CHOKE KELLY. Lol.
  • and you didn't like Reid ,
what do you want A coach who walks on water?
  • I love the post KS. Look at the so called Cryboys fan here calling our coach a choke after winning the division last season. Why is he worrying about our coach when his coach just went 8-8 three straight seasons. To "choke" means you are actually good, but to go 8-8 just means you're mediocre. I guess this so called Cryboys fan just LOVES mediocrity.
  • thanks EZ isn't it funny how I was ignored until Choke Kelly was introduced as the eagles coach?
yea no one read any blog I wrote ?
as laugh- ins Arte Johnson once quipped "very Interesting?"
  • I've always given love to everyone's posts KS. I think people think too much of themselves on this site sometimes. They think they are more important than they are in reality.
  • EZ I left out a very important word Encouragement , I love it when I get a pat on the back for anything and not taken to the cleaners?
  • I'll be rooting for the Niners. I can't stand the Steelers having the most Lomardi's or dealing with all the bandwagon Seahawk fans where I live bragging. If you haven't suffered through losing seasons and heartbreaks I don't want to hear it!!!
  • Brinkster I have been a Seahawks fans from start no bandwagon rider in me. and I can stand losing gee its called sports children..
  • KS! Hear me out bro. When you first came on here you admitted to being a Cowboys fan years ago. Then you became an Eagles fan. Now you are a Seahawks fan from the start. No bandwagon rider in you. Well I've been a diehard Carolina Panthers fan and a die hard Seattle fan too. I also like the Saints. That's just the NFC.
  • I don't remember you ever claiming to be a Cryboys fan KS. If anything you told us you were a Ducks fan at the most. Well if you were a Cryboys fan you wouldn't be alone at jumping the Cryboys ship. Apparently America has too. BTW why does a Patriots fan care if you are now an Eagles fan?

  • A key word for Landry was Class , you don't see that much anymore.
No ask Jerry Jones its all about MONEY
  • the hate on chip kelly is unreal yea i can understand discontent about not getting far in the playoffs but leave the guy alone he did a really good coaching job with what he had.
  • Looks like somebody has finally decided to go back to their new ID creating right Pats fan?
  • I also dont think they do much research?
And say they dont keep track of College ball ?
Hey sir thats why Mr Kelly was hired by philly what he did at Oregon?
What team wouldnt be interested in a coach like he??
    lets look shall we...
    Chip Kelly
