  • It was a great first inning and fourth inning ~ after that, pretty mundane. However, did get to see many different players on the field. As I said, the biggest highlight was that this was Chipper Jones last....at least as a current player.
  • Chipper, a huge fan favorite. I like Chipper, great for the game of Baseball.
  • yea thats why its the all star game....I like chipper jones also saw him on the 700 club recently
  • I dont know, I guess I still think I feel madly in love with the more faster sports when I announced basketball for the eugene chargers from the IBL or the international basketball league no defense in that league fast moving basketball the first game I did eugene won a game by scoring 178 points 178 points in basketball?? gosh it was fun....
  • fell in love....you cant go back ang change errors here
  • After 10 minutes no you cant change errors. Even though the game was lopsided I still like the festivities and all the players in uniform. Baseball just needs to make it an exhibition and fun again!
  • I do too Bratman. It's filled with a good and wholesome family atmosphere I really like.
  • like most sports
  • and speed up baseball
  • It's faster today than in the 70's and 80's. They're getting there.
  • Morning to you both! Kelly ~ it's too hot to speedup baseball. ") ..always has been a "relaxing, frustratingly wonderful game" to watch. Why change a good thing! And, Bratman ~ you are so right! No changes after 10 minutes! LOL.. You both have a great day!!
  • one aspect is the Intentional walk that drives me insane.why??? said the overloaded diaper child??? what does intentional mean do it???? I intentionally threw something at the umpire???? yes I know the pitcher could throw a strke??? no its called Intentional walk NOT maybe????
  • Intention walks in most cases are when the manager deems it not worth the risk of pitching to a big bat. In other words if anybody's going to beat us it's not the opposing team's big bat.

Also, it happens when managers want to match up a pitcher to the on deck hitter from the scouting report. Another scenario would be to intentionally load the bases for a higher chance at a double play. So, it's the call of the bench boss to get his team out of an inning without getting roughed up too bad.
  • to much driibble drabble the batter gets in and HITS...not picking his ????? or adjusting that???? hit the damn ball.....mr pitcher throw the ball what are you going to do marry it?????
  • TO SLOWWWWW i can sit and watch ICE MELT
  • why I watch the crowds at games or snoreeee Im napping
  • why my 3 in order fav sports #3 baseball....#2 football and NUMBER 1 basketball
  • baseball??? to much standing around trying to figure stuff out>>>>> football a little more movement by as my buddy says crashing into eachother...then fast moving hoops running jumping shooting not standing spitting itching scratching?????
  • heres a play by play of base...into his windup...no throws to first...now back into the windup ?? no he must pick up the rosen bagg toss it about...back into the windup...he needs to adjust something????now back into the windup?? no he sees a nice lady in the crowd????? borrrrrrrrrring
  • ever get the idea baseball isnt one of my fav sports???
  • sure I love base but its to slow
  • ill say it again
  • Pretty much all those "ALL STAR GAMES" in any sport are just for fun anyway, that is until the end. Then the competitive juices get to flowing.

All Star Games in any sport are basically a product of the particular sport to show appreciation to fans. Some years are better than others. The Kids enjoy it the most, and that's what I like about them.

Never know kellyscott, any particular fan promoted event, just might be the spark to motivate a young talent to work hard towards MLB All Stardom as well.
