If you're wondering why they're good

PITTSBURGH -- It's still nearly two hours before tipoff at beautiful Petersen Events Center on the Pitt campus and there are two Mavericks on the court practicing. Jason Kidd and Dirk Nowitzki. They are shooting 10 jumpers each from various spots on the floor and I haven't seen either one of them make less than eight yet. Oh yeah, in between sets of 10, they run the length of the floor. Just flat-out impressive that probably the two most important players on the team take an early shuttle to the arena to work out. This comes after the 90-minute shootaround this morning and before a game against Cleveland tonight. Hopefully, their teammates arrive soon to see this. --Eddie Sefko
