I'm rooting for draft position at this point.

Well it's another lost year for our beloved Oil, but havivg said that I don't think they are that far away from being a decent team. I think their main problem is the fact that they don't play well in their own zone, if they can get a high draft pick and get a good defenseman who can play right away I think they might be able to turn the corner. They also have a big defenseman playing in their minors who might be ready to play next year, his name is Alex Plante, pair him up with a top pick in this year's draft and they could be in the playoffs next year. I have been an Oilers fan since 1983 so you can imagiane how frustrated I've been with the last few seasons save the miracle run through the playoffs all the way to the finals in 2006, but like I said, I think they can turn things around next year with the right moves.
