Today the Cleveland Indians announced that right-handed pitcher Trevor Bauer has been recalled from Triple-A Columbus and will make a spot start tonight against the Phillies. To make room on the 25-man roster, the Indians have optioned left-handed pitcher Nick Hagadone to Columbus. Bauer is making his second start for Cleveland after making his American League debut on Saturday, April 6 in Tampa Bay when he took the loss. In that start he went 5.0 innings and allowed three runs on two hits, seven walks and had two strikeouts.  Since that start he has returned to Columbus and made three starts and is 1-0 with a 2.50 ERA. In 18.0 innings he has allowed five runs (all earned), 15 hits, six walks, had 24 strikeouts and a .242 average against.  He averaged 3.0 walks per 9.0 innings pitched and fanned 14.4 batters per 9.0 innings pitched.
