Maggie Lucas scored 23 points and Nikki Greene added 21 points and a career best-tying 20 rebounds and No. 6 Penn State overcame a 17-point first-half deficit to win the Cal State Northridge tournament with an 85-73 victory over the Matadors on Saturday.

Penn State head football coach Bill O'Brien was a little emotional after the Nittany Lions ended its first season under the NCAA banhammer with an overtime victory over Wisconsin. Emotional enough he dropped some language that the administration at Penn St. probably wishes he hadn't. Especially given the circumstances of the school's banhammering in the first place.
