Ryan Dadoun at Pro Hockey Talk reports that during yesterday's second straight day of CBA negotiations, NHLPA boss Donald Fehr and NHL commissioner Gary Bettman had a private conversation...

“I spent a few minutes with Gary talking about the overall situation, and we agreed to keep in touch,” Fehr said. “I am not going to talk about the specifics, but in general we’re trying to discuss how do we find a way to make an agreement. How do we bridge the gap on the major issues that are between us.”

In further encouraging news...

#CBA Steve Fehr said two sides had a "frank exchange of views" about what should be included in hockey-related revenue as currently defined

Here's some video of NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly and Fehr on today's negotiations (Via NHL.com)...

Finally, Dan Rosen at NHL.com notes that both side might keep the momentum going and meet for a fourth straight day on Monday.

...Bettman and Fehr talking privately? HRR being discussed? Possible meeting on Monday? Can it be? Could it be? Actual progress? I wouldn't hold my breath, but I like what I'm seeing from yesterday's negotiation.
