PLAYERS: Bas Rutten
Or perhaps you wrestling fans remember her better as “Aloisia” from her very, very, very, very, very, VERY short (as in it never really happened because she was “fired” before it began) stint on season three of WWE’s NXT. Either way, Lindsay Hayward recently bumped into retired UFC Heavyweight Champion and mixed martial arts legend Bas Rutten, and it’s safe to say that the duo made for one heck of a photo.Hayward bills herself on Twitter as the “world’s tallest female wrestler” at an incredible 6’9’’, while Rutten most recently entered the acting business with his role as Kevin James’ trainer in the comedy Here Comes the Boom. In fact, as I wrote this, Boom was on Showtime, causing me to momentarily consider watching it for a second time to write it up for 73 Sports Movies in 73 Days and then I thought about how much therapy costs and changed my mind.In Rutten’s defense, though, he was the best part of that film.(H/T to Guyism)
