Leave it to Jack Edwards to be the pessimist. On Wednesday’s edition of NESN Daily, the crew got Edwards and Andy Brickley together for a little friendly competition. Much like a formal debate, Edwards and Brickley argued opposite sides of the question of whether or not there will be an NHL season, with Brickley stoking fans’ hopes for hockey this year. In the end, apparently Edwards won the rhetorical matchup, earning 53 percent of viewers’ votes as opposed to Brickley’s 47 percent. Just keep in mind, just because Edwards may have argued better, it doesn’t mean that he’s actually right. Check out the debate in the video above.
