As if it wasn't bad enough already that he was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars (because those Chiefs sure seem to be doing alright), but former Texas A&m standout Luke Joeckel will now be forced to watch while everyone else plays.
During Sunday's loss to the St. Louis Rams Joeckel had to be taken from the field in a cart during the first quarter. Shortly after the game the fate of the No. 2 pick of the last draft was made public-- fractured ankle; out for the season.
It's a tough break for Joeckel (no pun intended) but an even tougher one for the Jaguars. The team traded away Eugene Moore late in the week, so now in light of Joeckel's injury the team will have two new starters on the offensive line.
Rumor has it that Tim Tebow was in town for a tryout. Maybe he can play offensive tackle.
