First Start of 2013: Reigning NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) champion and past NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) winner James Buescher will attempt to make his first NNS start of 2013 in the Johnsonville Sausage 200 at Road America on June 22nd. Buescher goes to Road America with limited experience on road courses, with just one NNS road course start at Watkins Glen in 2011. Buescher took part in an open test session last month at Virginia International Raceway. Buescher looks to gain road course experience for the upcoming NCWTS race at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park on September 1.
Meet and Greet: Come out to the NASCAR autograph session located in front of the media center entrance on Friday from 3:45 – 4:30 p.m. CDT and meet James Buescher and his Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) teammates.
The Pack is Back: The No. 34 will be running the Wolfpack Energy Services colors this weekend at the Johnsonville Sausage 200 at Road America. Wolf Pack Energy Services is a diversified company supplying a wide range of products and services to the oil and gas industry – from top-quality wellsite accommodations to oil and gas industry rental equipment and pipe storage, inspection, threading and refurbishing.
This Week’s Camaro: Turner Scott Motorsports will bring TSM-303 for this weekend’s Johnsonville Sausage 200 at Road America. This particular chassis ran during last year’s race at Road America with TSM teammate Miguel Paludo behind the wheel.
Watch and Listen: The Johnsonville Sausage 200 can be seen live on Saturday, June 22nd on ESPN. Race coverage will begin at 5:00 p.m. EDT. The event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Radio, channel 90.
James Buescher on Road America: “I’m really excited about making my return to the Nationwide Series this weekend. I don’t have a ton of experience on a road course, but this will give my team and I some more experience for when we return to Truck Series competition.”
