- During last night's Memphis Grizzlies - LA Clippers game, Jerry "The King" Lawler bodyslammed a fan wearing a Clippers jersey. It was not the first time that Lawler performed a worked spot at a Grizzlies game, as he gave a fan wearing a Clippers jersey a piledriver last year. You can check it out embedded in the video below. - Fans at the Radio City Music Hall last night gave NFL commissioner Roger Goodell the "WHAT?!" treatment whenever he would pause to announce a draft pick.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Marc Gasol had 24 points and 13 rebounds, and the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Los Angeles Clippers 104-83 Saturday to even their first-round series at 2-all. Zach Randolph finished with 24 points and nine rebounds as the Grizzlies won their second straight to ensure another stop in Memphis for Game 6. Mike Conley had 15 points and 13 assists, and Tayshaun Prince...

Grizzlies control boards, even series with Clippers

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis is going back to Cali feeling a lot better than it did when leaving last week in an 0-2 hole. The Grizzlies dominated once more Saturday at home and beat Los Angeles 104-83 to even the Western Conference series at two games apiece. Here are three observations on an intense series shifting back to the West Coast. 1. This series, now knotted up, is as intense...

Memphis center Marc Gasol spanks himself because he can

While I have even money that this self-spanking trend isn’t going to catch on in the NBA, that isn’t going to stop Marc Gasol from doing it. In the Grizzlies game four against the Los Angeles Clippers, Marc decided to celebrate with a little bit of self-spanking after making a shot: *** Marc Gasol spanks himself [@CJZero]

Marc Gasol Spanks Himself In Celebration

There really isn’t much that needs to be said here except Marc Gasol just spanked himself in celebration. That’s all. Here it is on a loop. [GIF's via @CJZero] Article found on: Next Impulse Sports

Zach Randolph Hugs Matt Barnes After Hard Foul

Zach Randolph appreciated the hard playoff foul from Matt Barnes Thursday night. After getting pummeled from behind on a layup attempt under the rim in the 4th quarter, Z-Bo ran over and issued a hug and a high-five to Barnes who kept his cool and offered a smile as well. video via Eye On Basketball

LeBron expresses frustration after losing Defensive Player of the Year award to Marc Gasol

LeBron is a true competitor to the very end. Dude doesn't want to lose anything, ever. Kinda like another current famous NBA player (hint, hint: Kobe)   One knock on LeBron James earlier in his career was that he focused more on individual goals like winning MVP and proving his worth to the media as opposed to winning a championship for the Cleveland Cavaliers and...

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Marc Gasol had 24 points and 13 rebounds, and the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Los Angeles Clippers 104-83 Saturday to even their first-round series at 2-all. Zach Randolph finished with 24 points and nine rebounds as the Grizzlies won their second straight to ensure another stop in Memphis for Game 6. Mike Conley had 15 points and 13 assists, and Tayshaun Prince...

Grizzlies dominate inside to beat Clippers 94-82

The Memphis bench has been missing in action through the first two games against the Los Angeles Clippers. Those reserves are starting to show they can hold their own on the floor and help keep the Grizzlies in this series. Quincy Pondexter scored 10 of his 13 points in the second half, including eight in the final stanza, and the Grizzlies beat the Clippers 94-82 on Thursday night...

Grizzlies 94, Clippers 82

Zach Randolph had 27 points and 11 rebounds, and the Memphis Grizzlies returned to form Thursday night by beating the Los Angeles Clippers 94-82 to pull to 2-1 in the first-round series. Memphis snapped the Clippers' nine-game winning streak by outrebounding and dominating on second-chance points, the same things Los Angeles did so well on its home court to start the series...

Matt Barnes Fouls Zach Randolph Pretty Hard and he Seemed to Enjoy it (Video)

Zach Randolph is a very intimidating guy, so I’m pretty sure Los Angeles Clippers forward Matt Barnes’ life flashed before his eyes when the Memphis Grizzlies forward charged him after he fouled him pretty hard during Game 3 of their playoff match up  last night. To Barnes’ credit he didn’t flinch during the awkward encounter, and was probably as shocked as anyone when...

LeBron James says coming in second in DPOY voting to Marc Gasol "sucks"

LeBron James was not too happy about coming in second to Marc Gasol in this season’s Defensive Player of the Year voting, and he shouldn’t be.“It sucks,” James stated simply. Gasol had a solid season, and served as the anchor on a very good defensive unit. However his season stats of 7.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game were underwhelming, and considering his defensive prowess...
