Found November 01, 2013 on Pro Football Zone:
The Giants started the season in a way that almost no one saw coming. An 0-6 skid that had Giants fans everywhere looking for answers. The answers aren’t all in now but a 2 game win streak heading to the bye is certainly a positive. GM Jerry Reese credits Tom Coughlin for the team refusing to quit. “Well, this is not Tom’s first rodeo. He’s been around for a while,” Reese said Tuesday. “The passion that he brings to the table, all of our players can see that. That’s never wavered with him. For him to keep this team together, I think that shows how much respect the players have for him and what he’s done for the organization.” Jerry Reese appears to have the type of relationship with his HC that most fans would love to have. It has translated to two Super Bowl victories. The Giants will be back, sooner rather than later. Need NFL Tickets? Loading... Jon Beason to the New York Giants might be the best move of the year

The New York Giants never make an in-season trade but this year for some reason they felt like they needed to pick up Jonathan Beason of the Carolina Panthers. Since Beason has come to the New York Giants the middle linebacker has been stout. Today during the team’s bye week their linebackers coach gave his […]

Giants expect Andre Brown to be ready for week 10

New York Giants running backs coach Jerald Ingram believes Andre Brown will be ready to play after the Giants bye this week. “I’m very confident,” Ingram said Tuesday via ESPN.com. “I think he’s practiced well in the last few weeks. He’s eager to get out there. He’s a competitor and he’s gone through an awful lot and he has a lot of pain in his heart and I think he’ll...

WATCH: Giants fan has replica of MetLife Stadium as a hairstyle

We’ve seen some pretty inventive and unique sports-themed haircuts through the years, but this one might be the best yet. This passionate New York Giants fan displayed his love of Big Blue with an incredible haircut in the form of MetLife Stadium. I appreciate how the Giants fan shows respect to his MetLife Stadium co-inhabitants by having one Giants endzone and one Jets endzone...

5 Teams The New York Giants Should Trade Hakeem Nicks To

Does the fact that Hakeem Nicks was not traded by the New York Giants at the deadline help or hurt this franchise? Maybe a little of both. There is plenty of talent in this 25-year-old receiver, but the Giants' coaching staff must first find a way to bring out the skills that have made him effective in blue and red before.According to the New York Daily News, “Nicks has 34 catches...

Justin Tuck is worth more than sacks

When healthy, Justin Tuck is a literal wild man. Even if his not anywhere near double digit sacks this season, Tuck is a fiery guy that will punch you in the mouth. And that counts for something. D-Line Coach Robert Nunn gave the man high praise: "Justin is off to an outstanding start. A very solid first half of the season. He's healthy. He's playing...

According to Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post,  former Dallas Cowboys head coaching great Tom Landry died a fan of the New York Giants. In a book written by Landry’s widow,  she stated that her husband was so upset with how poorly Jerry Jones treated him after he was fired,  that he routed for the Giants for the remainder of his life. Hakeem Nicks still a Giant, for now

(Photo credit: Getty Images) The National Football League trade dead line came and went yesterday at 4:00 p.m. EST and for former North Carolina wide out Hakeem Nicks nothing happened, remaining with the New York Giants. Now all focus will switch on his performance from here until the end of the season, and after that, it will be all about what happens to the wide out in the off...

Tom Coughlin has a positive outlook

It is not secret that Coach Coughlin can be a tremendous hard ass. One thing Coughlin is not, is easily defeated. And right now, after the horrendous start, he not discouraged. The coach went on WFAN with Mike Francesa yesterday morning to discuss the rest of the season and where the head coach thinks the G-Men stand. The entire interview is definitely worth a...

Reese credits Tom Coughlin with team's refusal to give up

As Jerry Reese surveyed the damage from the Giants’ 0-6 start — a disaster he never saw coming — he stubbornly tried to look at the bright side. And there was always a bright side, even before two straight wins gave his team a soft landing on the way into the bye. What he saw, as the losses piled up, was a team that wouldn’t fracture, a team that refused to quit and a team...

Coughlin’s suggestion for those who think he’s too old to coach

Tom Coughlin has a suggestion to those who might wonder if, at 67, he might be getting too old to continue as head coach of the Giants, who are 2-6 at midseason: Why don’t you see if you can keep up with me? “You know, if you pin me down on it and I really knew that [questions about his age] was taking place, I probably would say, ‘Come on out here and get with me at five...

Bye Week Blues

I am sad. I like football. Even when the Giants are sucking beyond belief. I still like to see them take the field. What am I supposed to do this Sunday? If you have any suggestions, I am all ears. Just don't suggest that I watch other football teams play. I like the New York Giants far more than I like football itself. So it's tough to raise excitement levels for...

Should Giants Target A QB In Early Rounds Of NFL Draft (Again)?

As the G-Men have struggled to a 2-6 record this year, a lot has been made about both Eli Manning and Tom Coughlin, and whether they should remain with the New York Giants. Both have been in this situation before, and twice they've answered with a championship season. However, this season is a bit different for a variety of reasons. The biggest concerns have been age and lack...
