Pro Sports Daily:
New York Jets owner Woody Johnson has committed to backup quarterback Tim Tebow for three year, and offered support for starter Mark Sanchez. Despite speculation that the Jets could try to trade Tebow after this season, Johnson told CNBC Wednesday that the team will "absolutely" keep him for the duration of his contract. He added that he and head coach Rex Ryan haven't discussed inserting Tebow as the starter. The Jets owner wouldn't say the situation would never change because "never is a long, long time period," but offered that he sees "the same things in Mark Sanchez that I saw when I first met him."

Lawrence Taylor made an appearance on Wednesday's Inside the NFL and he had some unique advice for Jets QB Tim Tebow on how to make it in The Big Apple.
Via Larry Brown Sports: Tim Tebow stoked some religious fires before the “Monday Night Football” game between the Jets and Texans by recognizing that this was the 666th edition of the program.
The Tim Tebow saga has been one of the interesting stories in NFL history. When Tebow was drafted by the Broncos in the first round of the 2010, there were questions as to whether he could actually be a successful NFL quarterback. Although he had an agglomeration of collegiate accolades, he lacked the proper technique and mechanics needed to be a starter in the NFL. Many people...
Last night's Texans-Jets game wasn't just an opportunity for the country to see the NFL's best team in the national spotlight. (That would be the Texans in case you were wondering.) No. Naturally, with the New York Jets involved, it was an opportunity to revisit TebowMania.
Shockingly, ESPN was realtively reserved yesterday compared to their summer when SportsCenter...
Mark Sanchez had his moments - good and bad - for the Jets. Tim Tebow, too.
But some of the Jets' biggest flaws were on full display in their 23-17 loss to the Houston Texans. They couldn't run the ball, the defense couldn't stop the run and Tebow still isn't running on the field much.
Rex Ryan says the Jets need to get their running game going for the offense to...
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- The NFL is looking in to the play where Brian Cushing's season ended for the Houston Texans on Monday night in their 23-17 victory over the Jets. The play in question came on a 2nd & 7 effort from the Jets 32-yard line with 10:37 to go in the second quarter. With Tim Tebow in the shotgun formation, running back Bilal Powell came from the left far side...
They asked Woody about Tebow's Johnson!
At this point the Jets have no answers on offense at all. Tebow or Sanchez? Where’s first round pick from a few years ago in Shonne Greene. Santonio Holmes was their best offensive weapon and he’s done for the season. I think Antonio Cromartie was right when he said he was the second best receiver on the team. He beat Johnathan Joseph badly on a stop and go route on Monday...
What isn’t there to say that’s already been said about this victory for the Colts? Indianapolis played on emotion and had the heart of a champion to get the “W.”
If you don't play Fantasy Football, at least admire this photo of a cute puppy in Tim Tebow's arms.
Sometimes Las Vegas gets it completely wrong. Right now, as of the typing of this article, the New York Jets are favored by three points over the Indianapolis Colts in the upcoming clash at the New Meadowlands. Then again, point spreads are usually indicative of "betting trends". Leading me to believe that Vegas, in its infinite wisdom, expects people to put their hard...
The New York Jets are the definition of dysfunction, and the circus is only getting better as time moves forward.
In an interview on CNBC, Woody Johnson made a plethora of comical remarks that should raise our eyebrows, but more specifically, he said of the possibility of hanging on to Tim Tebow, "He's going to be with us for three years."
Meanwhile, Manish Mehta...
