Tim Tebow is expected to part ways with the New York Jets this
offseason, but the team doesn’t plan on releasing the polarizing quarterback
until the start of the new league year. In the meantime, the Jets will attempt
to trade Tebow, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

However, Schefter adds that there “is not expected to be
much interest” in Tebow. He was told by one NFL general manager that Tebow’s
career is likely over without the quarterback agreeing to play another position.
It was expected that the Jacksonville Jaguars would express interest
in Tebow, but they are no longer in the mix.
If he were to switch to a new position, it would likely be
an H-back where he could be used out of the backfield and in the short passing
game. However, Tebow hasn’t expressed interest in a move, as he hopes to
continue his career as a quarterback.
