Bart Scott has high expectations for Mark Sanchez, saying he wants the New York Jets quarterback to ''take the next step'' of becoming one of the top 10 players at his position. The linebacker says Wednesday that there is a noticeable difference in how Sanchez carries himself as a leader this season, the quarterback's fourth in the NFL. Scott says Sanchez ''sticks that chest out like a peacock and I think that really shows confidence.'' Cornerback Darrelle Revis says the entire team is ''counting on Mark'' to show significant progress, and ''if we lose, it falls on Mark. If we win, it falls on Mark.''

Did Mark Sanchez grow a set?

Mark Sanchez, the starting back-up QB for the New York Jets, has been battling Tim Tebow all summer long in Cortland. But it seems that he is taking control under center and in the huddle. Eli Manning praises Mark Sanchez, reminds people he hasn’t always been popular

New York sports fans aren’t exactly the most patient bunch in America. They want results and they want them fast. When the Jets traded up in the first round to get Mark Sanchez four years ago, the mindset became Super Bowl or bust. Sanchez led the team to two AFC Championships in his first two seasons as starting quarterback, but last year was a disappointment. Despite the slide...

Baby not happy Tim Tebow is holding him

Thanks to Rob Iracrane via, above is a picture of Jets quarterback Tim Tebow holding a baby that is clearly not happy. My guess is that the baby doesn’t like the fact that Tebow will be taking away from Mark Sanchez’s playing time.   He has to be a Sanchez fan.
