J.J Watt wasn’t going to let a little — okay, a lot — of blood keep him from playing on Sunday afternoon. The defensive end took a shot to the face during Houston’s matchup against the Seahawks. During the third quarter, Watt took off his helmet to reveal blood streaming down his face, and was forced to leave the field to receive medical attention. The Texans star needed six stitches to close up the gash on his nose, but he stayed in the game, looking more like a hockey player than a football one. When asked how he suffered the injury, Watt told reporters after the game, “I hit people for a living.” Watt recorded eight tackles and three quarterback hits in Houston’s overtime loss to the Seahawks. Check out some photos of Watt looking as intimidating as ever in the photos below. Photo via Twitter/@Melanie Collins Photo via Twitter/@KatzM Filed under: Anna Fogel, Headlines, NFL

  • Mr. JJ Watt said it best yesterday, "I hate losing!" since from his perspective, he performed his top-notch winning defensive ways with his Defensive teammates and helped the Texans get the ball from the Seahawks -- only to witness QB Schaub squander and give away their chances for a WIN.

Coach Kubiak must have the guts to make the move to activate the tandem of Yates and Keenum for the remaining 12 games since history is really against them. The DEFENSIVE team, the FANS, the CITY deserve better than what QB Matt Schaub is giving us. He does not need to get on the field and show us another losing game. This Texans team has all the tools in place to win any OR all of the 12 upcoming games sans QB Schaub. BUT, only if the three men (McNair, Smith, Kubiak) leading this Texans organization realize that a CHANGE is in order and have the BALLS to make positive things happen not with Schaub but with their underutilized although more than capable QB's Yates and Keenum.

I am crossing my fingers that these three men have the guts to effect the CHANGE! We, the loyal Texans fans deserve BETTER!
