Before Sunday’s dreadful loss in Seattle, Joe Namath indicated last week that he’s ready for the New York Jets to start Tim Tebow over Mark Sanchez. “We can go right to the Tebow thing. I mean, come on,” Namath said Wednesday, per USA TODAY Sports. “If you’re bringing him in to play, where’s he been? Are you bringing him in to make other people practice longer? Excuse me. Are you bringing him in, trying to get media headlines?” During the game Namath once again made it clear that he wouldn’t mind seeing Tebow play. How about an uptempo offense with Tebow at the helm? — Joe Namath (@RealJoeNamath) November 11, 2012 Gee, I hadn’t thought of that… #sarcasm @sbzeke17 How many of Sanchez’ INT are after Tebow plays? #no rhythm — Joe Namath (@RealJoeNamath) November 11, 2012     var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script'); ref = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; _CI.counter = (_CI.counter) ? _CI.counter + 1 : 1; document.write(''); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = 'http://widget.crowdignite.com/widgets/27484?_ci_wid=_CI_widget_'+_CI.counter; script.async = true; ref.parentNode.insertBefore(script, ref); })(); sr_adspace_id = 1000005525107; sr_adspace_width = 300; sr_adspace_height = 250; sr_ad_new_window = true; sr_adspace_type = "graphic";

  • I said it in the past, I will say it again...if you want to get and win...get rid of this brainless Sanchez
  • The best way to keep the New York Jets from winning a Super Bowl while they have Tim "I don't know how to read a defense" Tebow is to make him the starter. Not only does Sanchez have more sense than Tebow, or as we called him in Denver, "TeBoner", Sanchez does not lie about how he is. Joe Namath would not have been successful in the league of 2012, so he should shut it, and use his celebrity to help the people in NY who are suffering.
  • Namath is correct. Ryan is a windbag who ignored the team owner's advice to his own peril. He should be fired for being an idiot. Sanchez isn't getting it done. No more excuses. Tebow can win given the chance. He needs more playing time, not just a few snaps here and there. Maybe Sanchez let's Ryan play with his feet.
