Joey Coulter will pilot Chassis No. 024 from the Richard Childress Racing NASCAR Camping World Truck Series stable in Friday’s Texas 350. Coulter drove this RCR Chevrolet to three top 10 finishes at Charlotte Motor Speedway (May), Texas Motor Speedway (June) and Kentucky Speedway (September). Coulter also earned the pole award with this chassis at Kentucky Speedway in September.
Coulter in the Lone Star State … Coulter has three previous starts at the 1.5-mile track in the Camping World Truck Series, recording two top-five and three top-10 finishes. The Miami Springs, Fla., native holds a ninth-place average starting position combined with a 4.7 average finishing position and has led for nine circuits.

He holds an average starting position of 8.9 along with an average finishing position of 9.2 and has completed 99.1 percent (2,907 of 2,932) of the contested laps, leading for 90 laps.
Going for a Loop … According to NASCAR’s Season-to-Date Loop Data Statistics, Coulter is the series’ leader in Fastest Driver Early in a Run and Quality Passes (704). He ranks second in Fastest Speed in Traffic and Green Flag Speed. Coulter is the third-Fastest on Restarts and Fastest Driver Late in a Run. He is ranked fourth in the Driver Rating (99.3) and Average Running Position (9.590) categories. Coulter has recorded 159 Fastest Laps Run and 2,201 Laps Run in the Top 15, ranking him fifth and sixth, respectively, among his fellow competitors.

Rolling Three-Wide in Texas … OneMain Financial will be a triple-threat this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. In addition to the No. 2 OneMain Financial Chevrolet driven by Coulter in the Camping World Truck Series, OneMain Financial will be on-board with teammates Elliott Sadler and Kevin Harvick on the No. 2 and No. 33 RCR Chevrolets for the NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Saturday, Nov. 3.
Race Rewind: Martinsville Speedway … Despite battling a loose-handling Chevrolet for a majority of the 200-lap affair at Martinsville Speedway, Coulter and the No. 22 RCR team collected a third-place result, the 22-year-old’s second top five finish in four starts at the half-mile short track.
You’re earned two top five finishes in three starts at Texas Motor Speedway. What are your expectations for this weekend’s race? “I’m looking forward to racing again at Texas (Motor Speedway). We’ve had some solid finishes there in the past, and I know we can add another top five to the stat chart.
