Los Angeles Kings goalie Jonathan Quick had a rough outing in Game 2 against Chicago, but it appears that he has a quick memory. Late in the third period up 2-1, the Kings netminder made a ridiculous save on Blackhawks forward Bryan Bickell. He used the inside of his blocker to swat the puck away and keep the Kings narrow lead intact. The Kings went on to win the crucial game and have managed to get back into this series.

The Kings suffered a major blow Tuesday when Coach Darryl Sutter ruled out their leading playoff scorer, Mike Richards, for tonight's Game 3 against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Sutter is rarely open about injuries but disclosed the decision after the morning skate at Staples Center. Richards is suspected to have suffered a concussion after taking a hard hit in the last two minutes...
Center Mike Richards wont be in the lineup when the Kings face the Chicago Blackhawks at Staples Center Thursday night in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals, Coach Darryl Sutter confirmed after the teams optional skate and morning meeting.
The Kings trail the series, two games to one.
Richards, who suffered a concussion when he was hit by Chicagos Dave Bolland in Game 1, missed...
Slava Voynov had a goal and an assist, Jonathan Quick made 19 saves, and the Los Angeles Kings beat Chicago 3-1 in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals on Tuesday night, trimming the Blackhawks' series lead to 2-1.
Justin Williams also scored and Dwight King added an empty-net goal in the defending Stanley Cup champions' 15th consecutive home victory since March. The...
This 5-year-old is clearly a Los Angeles Kings diehard and prior to Game 3 against the Chicago Blackhawks, he named every single player on the roster based off of their jersey number in front of a sellout crowd. Look out Pierre McGuire, in no time this kid will be taking your job between the glass.
Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith said he accidentally high-sticked Los Angeles Kings forward Jeff Carter in the face in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals.
Kings coach Darryl Sutter thought Keith got off easily with a double minor after opening a gash on Carter's face during the Blackhawks' 3-1 loss to the defending Stanley Cup champions in Game 3 on Tuesday...
Slava Voynov broke his stick in two with a vicious swing at the puck during the second period. The Los Angeles Kings defenseman's slower shot stayed on course anyway, sliding past Corey Crawford into Chicago's net.
The defending Stanley Cup champions have been getting all kinds of breaks during an unbeaten home run through the postseason. They'll need a few more like...
The defending champion Los Angeles Kings looked to rally from a second 2-0 series deficit of the playoffs as they returned home on Tuesday night for Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. The Kings had not lost at home all postseason and the Chicago Blackhawks could not buck that trend on Tuesday as Los [...]
In a game whose goals were mostly of the "strange and/or fluky bounce" variety, the Chicago Blackhawks put on an absolute defensive clinic sans Duncan Keith, just dismantling the Los Angeles Kings in the 3rd period and emerging with a 3-2 win and 3-1 series lead thanks to a Marian Hossa goal and some incredibly stifling--Kings-like--defensive play.
And yes, it is likely...
Expect anything different? Hollywood drama story that should have a script to it. Another 2-1 game for 59 minutes for the Los Angeles Kings (9-5-2), this time, they were on the winning end as they were able to get another goal on an empty net and cap a 3-1 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks (10-4-1), and once again, Jonathan Quick proved why he is possibly the most clutch postseason...
The Los Angeles Kings just defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 3-1 in Game 3 of the Western Conference Final, allowing Los Angeles to climb back into the series and stifle the Blackhawks' momentum by playing a hard-nosed, physical game.
The L.A. Kings lose for the first time at home during the 2013 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Chicago Blackhawks make L.A. Kings all-world goalie Jonathan Quick look human, the goal by Hossa was an absolute blast, in fact, Quick is probably still looking for the puck.
Scoring for the Blackhawks: Bryan Bickell (8), Marian Hossa (7) and Patrick Kane (3) find the twine and score...
