The dominoes continue to fall for Andy Reid and his Philadelphia Eagles. In the span of a week, Reid has lost his defensive coordinator, and one of his best friends, to cancer, he lost his staring middle linebacker to a torn ACL suffered during an exhibition practice, he lost his temper and dignity when he tried to punish the local media for reporting on the injury to his middle linebacker, and now it is being reported by the Allentown Morning Call that defensive end Juqua Thomas was arrested Tuesday night on the campus of Lehigh University for possession of marijuana.
According to the Morning Call, Thomas was taken into custody during a traffic stop around 12:30 AM near the Eagles' training camp at Lehigh. Lower Saucon Township police said that Parker was the passenger of a car stopped for a traffic violation and was in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
Thomas was arraigned and committed to Northampton County Prison under $1000 bail. He was in court early this morning, but is not believed to have spent the night in prison.
The Eagles have yet to comment on the story.
