HAMPTON, Ga. – Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger team qualified 21st for Sunday night’s AdvoCare 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Keselowski toured the 1.5-mile oval in 30.121 seconds, or 184.058 miles per hour, in in the Friday afternoon time trial session. Sam Hornish Jr will start from the 15th position in the No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Dodge.
“Not quite what we were looking for in qualifying,” said Keselowski. “We definitely want to qualify better, but Paul and the Miller Lite Dodge team have proven that we can get to the front of the field. I’m anxious to get in race trim tomorrow morning.”
The AdvoCare 500 will air live at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN on Sunday afternoon. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Performance Racing Network and Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 90.
