Los Angeles Kinmgs defenseman Alec Martinez is out with a hyperextended elbow, as reported by Jon Rosen of LAKingsInsider.com. Martinez suffered the injury in the collision with Ducks' forward Andrew Cogliano and goaltender Jonathan Quick in the third period of Saturday’s Stadium Series game at Dodger Stadium. No official word on how long he will be out.The good news is that Martinez underwent an MRI, which showed no tear. He is however not with the team on their current two game road trip. Matt Greene is expected to be back in the lineup.
