Tyreke Evans has been suffering a sore left knee for some time now.  He has missed 12 games so far this season because of the knee.  It has bothered him off and on throughout the year.  He is hoping to return Sunday, but will get the knee evaluated further.According to Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee, Evans will see the Los Angeles Lakers' team physician, Steve Lombardo.  He is seeking a second opinion on the knee and a course of treatment that will help get him back to 100 percent quickly. Evans has appeared in 18 games for the Kings this season, but he has been limited even when on the court.  He is averaging 15.1 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game this season.  They are decent numbers, but Evans has averaged 18.0 points per game in his career.  Evans could be averaging more points per game if not for the fact that he is playing fewer minutes per game this year than any other of his career. The Kings are 11-19 on the season.  They are all but out of contention, but to build toward the future, they will need Evans healthy and productive.  If he can, he will continue to play, but Lombardi will evaluate him and ensure there are no other issues that have been missed by other doctors this season.
