Kobe Bryant likely can't wait for this frustrating season to be over. Between the coaching change, injuries to himself and others, chemistry issues--the man did not want one of his final seasons in the game to go like this. He didn't want to be fighting for the No. 8 seed in the post season. Well, chances are his fight is done after suffering an ankle injury--possibly the Achilles tendon--Friday night against the Golden State Warriors. With less than a minute to go Kobe was fouled by Klay Thompson. After making his free throws he left the game, slowly making his way to the locker room. The team wasted little time in announcing what they thought the injury likely was: Lakers PR team saying Kobe Bryant suffered a probable torn Achilles in tonight’s game.
