C'mon willardj! They never give Kobe credit. Gasol is no monster and Shaq wasn't winning **** with Anfernee Hardaway. The fact is Kobe is a true competitor in the purest since of the word. Lebron will get there one day. Everyone gets their chance. As far as you Grandma being a baller I think you are a bit prejudiced on that one son. Just because she was dunking on yo ass... michael jordan is not the best nba player when he starts to play in chicago in '85, but he is really good during that time. he scores much. rebounds much, and all the other stuff he did on the court. he's good but not considered the best and the greatest. but when he start to lead the bulls to championships. he became not only the best but the greatest player ever to play basketball. lebron james is like michael jordan when he starts. score much, rebound much and all the other stuff he did on the court. but unless he wins a championship for his team, he can only be good. if he can do it he could be the best and may surpass michael jordan as the greatest player to play basketball. for now it kobe bryant. lets face it.

Kobe is by far the best player in the NBA right now, and until Labron pulls a team together he will always be second to Kobe. We all know Kobe has had good players and also players that he had to mold into even better players. He did that too, and won two more NBA titles. So until Labron does that he will be second to Kobe.

Lebron is by far the best(all-around) player in the NBA. It's plain and simple, Kobe has and had better teams;that's it. Kobe couldn't take the teams Lebron had to the playoffs. That is a walking triple double plus great defense. Lebron dont have to take 30 shots to get 30 points. Plus it's not fair to compare them when Lebron has been in the league only 7 yrs. Look how long it toke Kobe to win a ring and MVP without Shaq. Lebron never had help in Cleveland and they weren't making any effort to getting him any help. Don't forget, Kobe's first 3 rings was Shaq's team. Lakers will not win another championship any time soon...They clearly ******* Boston in game 7. Don't get me wrong, Kobe is a good player, but there is no way in hell I would build a team around him. Don't blame Lebron for not winning a ring, blame that sorry azz owner Cleveland has.It takes a team to win rings, not one player.

Kobe is better all day everyday. Kobe could take any team in the east to the finals cuz the east is an easier road to the finals than in the west where there is more competition. With out a doubt Kobe is still the best player in the game and he does not get any respect but to him it doesn't matter his the only active player with 5 rings who's talkin now ever since lebron came to the league they try to push him in with kobe and make them go head to head .... but hes not like lebron that just talks and talks ... that's why now lebron is most hated somewhere in L.A. KOBE is laughing at this since the Decision....
