Gasol to undergo MRI Wednesday in Boston

NEW YORK Pau Gasol's comments certainly won't comfort any Lakers followers. "Right now I'm waiting for crutches so I can walk out of here," he said nervously in the visitors' locker room after straining the plantar fasciitis in his right foot. It's an injury as ugly as it sounds, plantar fasciitis known more commonly as painful swelling on the soft...

No Gasol, no problem? Not so fast

So, the Lakers enter tonight's game without Pau Gasol. Pretty sweet, right? Not quite. Ever since Mike D'Antoni replaced Mike Brown as the coach of the purple and gold, Gasol has been on the outside looking in. In one of the most confusing and indefensible moves in recent memory, D'Antoni had the guy coming off the bench. He has, understandably, not been happy with his...

Pau Gasol say ‘it’s a possibility’ that he will ask for a trade if Dwight Howard and Mike D’Antoni return to the Lakers next season

It has been discussed ad nauseum that things aren’t working in Los Angeles for the Lakers this season. And Steve Nash has gone as far as to say that things probably won’t get much better in LA this season. Lost in the Lakers struggles is the fact that Pau Gasol seems to be the odd man out in this new regime of the team. While Kobe, Nash, and Howard have logged many minutes in...

Pau! Right in the Gas-hole!

We’ve been down this road before with Pau Gasol and it just doesn’t appear to be in the cards this season for him and his owners. Last night disaster struck again in the form of plantar fasciitis, don’t try to pronounce it at home. What is plantar fasciitis? In short, your foot hurts when you have it, that’s all I know. As many of you astute fantasy owners also know by now...
