I vaguely remember Lamar Odom playing with the Dallas Mavericks last season. Odom had a difficult time adjusting to Dallas after being traded from the Lakers in the lockout shortened season. To say the situation ended on a low note is an understatement. So Naturally when the Mavericks faced off against his new – old team, the Clippers (remember the Clippers drafted LO back in 1999) his return last night saw the fans booing him every time he touched the ball.
And the Clippers lost in overtime 109-102.

Lamar Odom returned to Dallas for the first time since his disastrous tenure and mutual agreement to part ways with the Mavericks last season. Upon checking into the game, Odom received thunderous boos from the crowd, which returned every time he touched the ball. To the delight of Dallas fans, Odom turned the ball over on his first offensive possession sparking cheers from the...
Lamar Odom received a roar of boos every time he touched the ball in his return to Dallas Tuesday, and though he says he’d apologize to Mark Cuban for the way things ended last season, he feels no guilt about his early departure from the team.
According to Tim MacMahon, ESPN Dallas:
“Guilty? No, no, no,” Odom said when asked if he felt guilt about the way his season in Dallas...
Lamar Odom had the worst season of his career with the Dallas Mavericks last year. When the Mavericks acquired the 12-year veteran, they thought they would be getting the same type of role player the Los Angeles Lakers had during the seven years prior. That did not happen, and Odom’s only season in Dallas ended with the team paying him to not be on the roster.
As you might expect...
The Clippers announced Thursday that they’ve signed guard, Maalik Wayns, for the remainder of the season. Wayns has averaged 3.7 points and 2.3 assists (9.3 minutes) in three games with the team this season.
According to Los Angeles Clippers:
The Los Angeles Clippers announced today that they have signed guard Maalik Wayns for the remainder of the season.
Dallas Mavericks small forward Jae Crowder might be a mutant. Check out this video of him shape-shifting into Brandan Wright:
Let’s just hope Jae Crowder/Brandan Wright knows that with great power comes great responsibility.

Jada Paul, Chris Paul’s wife, was on Instagram straight flexin’ recently, showing off her husband’s ridiculously massive sneaker collection, and it’s a sneakerhead’s dream. CP3′s wall to wall collection is so large, a customized walk-in closet was insufficient. Instead, Paul transformed an entire bedroom in the couple’s home into the ultimate...
O.J. Mayo, Dirk Nowitzki, Vince Carter, Chris Kaman, Elton Brand and Jae Crowder have all remained true to their pact of not shaving until their team got to .500. That was at 7 games under in the first week of February. Now at 35-36, the Mavs will have a chance Thursday night to realize their goal and finally shave the beards off. The players are looking forward to a win so much...
Chris Paul’s wife provided this picture on her Instagram of just a portion of his shoe stock which is so huge that they needed an entire bedroom to make all those Jordans fit. I think Paul has more shoes right now than I’ve had in my entire life.
Dirk Nowitzki and his Dallas Mavericks teammates pledged earlier this season not to shave until the team returned to the .500 mark.
The Mavericks are close to getting their razors ready and will try to even their record for the first time in 3 12 months with Thursday night's visit from a surging Indiana Pacers team that's approaching full health.
With nine wins in the last...
Chris Paul turned a bedroom of his house into a museum specifically for his shoes, and it is glorious.
In a close game, the Clippers found themselves down by 3 last night in overtime to the Dallas Mavericks. An offensive possession finds the ball in Matt Barnes hands at the top of the key for a wide open 3-pointer. Barnes shoots 34% from 3 on the season, so many would conclude that that was a good shot and had a decent chance to tie the game.
Unfortunately, the shot wasn’t...
During Tuesday's Mavericks-Clippers game, veteran announcer Dick Stockton had a pretty egregious announcing flub that he covered up pretty quickly. In the third quarter, Mike James of the Mavericks hoisted up a three that bounced off the front of the rim and into the arms of Blake Griffin. Stockton called the shot like it was a made three, and it took a second for him to realize...
According to The Dallas Morning News, Dallas Mavericks center Chris Kaman does not like Dwyane Wade. Kaman said, I just never really got along with Dwyane Wade. I guess I [...]
