LATINFERNO IS DEAD RIGHT

COUPLE days ago I was getting antsy that we didn't have powerback. (Been lamenting it for a while actually, and NO, Weaver is not a big, strong HB, he's a FB. Translation: big, slow HB.) I knew we had Mendenhall but I didn't know anything about him aside from his bloodline. Then Latinferno's post comes along. I LOVE THE LOOK OF THIS GUY! Great lean, finishes runs, speed in the open field...My favorite thing is his lateral movement while heading downfield. He shifts side to side with his FEET! Most backs indicate their shifts with a change in the pitch of their shoulders first. This guy moves ALL AT ONCE. So you never really get a clean shot and with his lean he's got that whole Ahman Green ability to slip tackles and make extra yards happen even in tight spaces. I still like my original idea of dumping Booker and signing Dunn; but I really want the EAGLES to take a real look at Mendenhall.
