If you’re an athlete and you’re on Twitter, chances are the social media site hasn’t always brought out the best in you. Eagles running back LeSean McCoy caused a stir online on Sunday afternoon when he voiced his opinion about Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno, stating very eloquently that he thinks he “sucks.” While the Broncos and Cowboys were in the midst of a shootout, combining for 99 points on the day, ESPN’s Skip Bayless tweeted a compliment about Moreno’s play against Dallas. McCoy quickly responded to the tweet, and made sure everyone knew his feelings regarding Denver’s running back. McCoy has rushed for 514 yards through the first five weeks of the season, whereas Moreno has only put up 331 yards for the Broncos. While those numbers certainly don’t “suck,” Moreno had the edge on Sunday, compiling 93 yards to McCoy’s 46. Check out the sassy tweet below. Knowshon sucks RT @RealSkipBayless: Peyton is doing what Peyton always does. But Knowshon is KILLING the Cowboys.— Lesean McCoy (@CutonDime25) October 06, 2013 Filed under: Headlines, NESN Staff, NFL
