The quarterfinals of the Liga MX saw no surprises, teams ranked 1-4 won their series, and are now the four teams left in the Liga MX liguilla semifinals. Toluca easily defeated Chivas by an aggregate score of 5-2. Leon took care of Cruz Azul at home, winning with an aggregate score of 4-2. America struggled with Morelia, but ultimately won with an aggregate score of 3-2. Xolos defeated Monterrey with an aggregate score of 2-1. These will be the semifinal matches and times (all times Eastern): THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 22 (hooray for Thanksgiving soccer!) 8:00 PM — America vs Toluca 10:00 PM — Leon vs Xolos SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 25 1:00 PM — Toluca vs America 7:30 PM — Xolos vs Leon TV schedules are still unconfirmed. Univision owns the tv rights for America, Toluca and Xolos, which means their home games will be broadcast through one of Univision’s channels. Telemundo owns the home rights for Leon.
