Kaepernicking > Tebowing. San Jose Sharks forward Logan Couture scored a beauty of a goal Thursday night, going short side on Oilers goalie Devan Dubnyk to put the Sharks up 1-0 in the second period (they would go on to win 3-2 in a shootout to remain undefeated on the season). And in case you missed it, because it was so brief, Couture celebrated his goal by “Kaepernicking,” which involves kissing your biceps in triumph after scoring, which has become the trademark of 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick. Couture said he was just showing some love to the Niners and their fans as they get ready to take on the Ravens in Super Bowl XLVII. Gotta support those fellow Bay Area teams and all that. Here’s Couture “Kaepernicking” in slow-mo (via Puck Daddy)… Kissing your biceps through three inches of padding isn’t quite as cool as smooching your muscular, tattoo covered cannon of a right arm, now is it?
