Luck eager to get started in Indianapolis

Associated Press  |  Last updated April 27, 2012
Andrew Luck got a quick tour of Indianapolis on Friday -- and full immersion into the environment he'll have to endure as Peyton Manning's replacement. The top pick in the NFL draft spent about two hours at the team complex, then took questions from reporters and met with fans. He even got his first new offensive target -- tight end Coby Fleener, the team's second pick of the draft and a teammate from Stanford. It has been a whirlwind 24 hours for the Stanford quarterback, who was in New York for most of the week. He arrived in Indianapolis about 4 p.m., then went to the team complex where he met with his new coach, new general manager and team owner Jim Irsay. Then it was off to the stadium with his family for another celebration.
