They say there are two roads for talented second year NFL players. On one hand there is the “Sophomore Slump” and on the other is the fact that many players take a big leap after getting a season under their belt. The quarterback position is a vital position when it comes to time put in, and one of the best things you can see from your teams QB is that he puts the time in.
Luck is feeling good about having a full offseason to work with his guys. He went on air with NFL Network and said some positive things about the time being put in.
“I’m 100 percent more comfortable than last year. It’s nice to be able to have the full offseason with the team.”
After years of having Peyton Manning and his slave driving offseason work ethic at the helm it’s certainly a very good sign that the young successor knows where to put the time in. It will be exciting to see how this 2013 Colts team shakes out, but I’m excited about the potential for improvement.
