Magic Johnson, the face of the new Los Angeles Dodgers ownership group and ESPN NBA analyst, took to Twitter in an attempt to encourage fans about the team. The results were... less than reassuring. Dodger Nation: All I want is for my players to relax and have fun. Once our pitching, hitting and defense comes togetherwe will be great! — Earvin Magic Johnson (@MagicJohnson) April 10, 2013 Well, aside from their pitching, hitting, and defense, the Dodgers are doing great this year! Unfortunately, those are the only three things that will actually help them win games on the field as there are no other elements to the game of baseball. But really, it's only the offense that's a major problem for Los Angeles, as their 2.18 ERA going into Wednesday night's game with the Padres ranked second in baseball behind just the Braves. Then again, the season is so young that one monster game can completely turn the stats on their head and the Dodgers aren't even below .500 anyways. Once  all the little things come together though, look out. [SBNation]
