Gov. Mike Braun awards IU football’s Curt Cignetti Indiana’s highest honor 
IU football coach Curt Cignetti and the team were honored at the Indiana Governor’s mansion Wednesday in Indianapolis. Governor Mike Braun gave Cignetti the 2026 Sachem Award, Indiana’s highest honor. Braun also awarded every member of the undefeated 2025 championship-winning Indiana Hoosiers team with the Sagamore of the Wabash.
