Only nine days remain until Selection Sunday and with losses in two of its last three games, Indiana has an important stretch on the horizon if it hopes to open NCAA Tournament play as a No. 1 seed. The Hoosiers have already clinched a Big Ten regular season championship and can win it outright with a win on Sunday at Michigan. With just one regular season game and the Big Ten Tournament to go before March Madness commences, it’s time for another edition of March Watch, a look at where Indiana stands in terms of the NCAA Tournament.
The Hoosiers have played twice since our last update, splitting a pair of home games with Iowa and Ohio State and already own a share of the regular season Big Ten championship. The loss to the Buckeyes dropped Indiana from the top spot in the s-curve of ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi.

First of all, let’s tip our cap to Sports Illustrated for this great story looking into how a new fan tradition — waving giant heads to psyche out opponents — made its way into sports.
It’s a great piece, and a great take on both the fan spirit behind the tradition and the business moves that accompany such an idea.
Second, let’s pick apart one anecdote and make comments...
Indiana’s Victor Oladipo has gone from relative obscurity last season to a potential lottery pick for this year’s upcoming NBA Draft. He’s been one of the most improved players in all of college basketball, and he’s a big reason IU is in play for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Despite the Hoosiers’ loss to Ohio State last night, Oladipo came away with the highlight...
Indiana’s Victor Oladipo had one of the best blocks we have had the pleasure of seeing on Tuesday night as the Hoosiers took on Ohio State. You can see the ridiculous hops and execution Victor displayed as he sent Shannon Scott’s layup attempt a good twenty feet into the stands. This is as good of a block as you will see this year along with an incredible show of athleticism...
A frustrating and demoralizing loss — that prevented the Indiana basketball team from winning a Big Ten championship outright for the first time in 20 years — didn't stop coach Tom Crean from bringing out the ladders and cutting down the nets on Senior Night at Assembly Hall.
Hours after the 67-58 upset loss to Ohio State, and way past midnight, the Hoosiers players donned...
It should have been a big night for the Indiana Hoosiers. For the first time in 20 years they were going to win a conference championship. It was senior night as well; last game of the regular season in front of the home crowd. Their opponent on the night was tough; ranked, but the Hoosiers had beaten every ranked team they played this season.
So everything as looking good on...
Indiana's Victor Oladipo wanted to make sure that it was clear whwat his intentions were with this shot. I think it is pretty safe to say that everyone understands exactly what he wanted to do.
One of the most prolific shooters in Hoosier history, Matt Roth, joins Podcast on the Brink this week to discuss his time at Indiana and what the current Hoosiers need to do to bounce back from their recent struggles.
Co-hosts Matt Dollinger and Justin Albers talk to Roth about his impressions from Tuesday’s game, which he attended, and how the Buckeyes were able to stifle the...
Indiana honored Hoosiers' stars Cody Zeller and Victor Oladipo on Tuesday night for their 1,000th career point scored.
