TEAMS: Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners, Oakland Athletics
The Headline: The Seattle Mariners bats remain anemic through 6-innings, but come alive in a late inning comeback.

Here’s my love ‘em hate ‘em of game 3 of this four game series.
Love ‘em
1. After Two Heart Breaking Loses, Seattle Finally Steals a WinSeattle jumped ahead on Tuesday, only to lose control of the game. Then, they suffered a tough 0-1 loss Wednesday.
It was nice for them to finally steal a win from Texas, especially in this stunning fashion.
2. The Late Inning TheatricsSo far this season, Seattle has only scored 7 runs past the 7th inning. 4 of those runs came tonight. Not only was it nice to see them score some runs late in a game, but also that those runs were the difference maker.
3. Kevin MillwoodMillwood, 37, had an impressive season opener. The veteran workhorse put up 6 solid innings of work, giving up 1 earned run and striking out 7 in his no decision.
Hate ‘em
1. Ineffectiveness against Colby LeiwsColby Lewisis a major flyball pitcher, pitching in a hitters park. Lewis had a 4-10 groundball-flyball ratio tonight. Yet, Seattle couldn’t score a single run off the pitcher.

The hitters had all the opportunity for an offensive breakout and couldn’t do it.
2. Ichiro’s Lack of Middle of the Order-nessIchiro is off to a great start, compared to last season, and is hitting .310 on the season. Tonight he went 0-4 leaving three men stranded on base.
Ichiro has three RBI for the season, tying him with Dustin Ackley, and putting him behind Chone Figgins (4) — the leadoff man— and Kyle Seager (5) — team leader. If he wants to remain the cleanup man he’s got to act like it.
3. Steve DelabarThe M’s have had major bullpen issues so far this season, and a lot of that stems from Steve Delabar.
The 28-year old has a 7.71 ERA through 4.2 innings of work. All his runs have come off home runs, including back-to-back bombs from Ian Kinsler and Elvis Andrus on Wednesday.
It’s time to step it up, or be demoted.
NoteBookHere’s the BOXSCORE | and Our Managing Editor “Q” has his RECAP
Prior to Wednesday, the Rangers had been 17-4 against Seattle since the start of the 2011 season. … Seattle won for only the seventh time in its last 23 games against American League West opponents.
