Mario Balotelli has feelings too. The Manchester City star had his heart set on meeting meeting Niki Minaj, but the rapper snubbed him because she was tired and hungry, according to Metro. Minaj performed at the Manchester Evening News (MEN) Arena on Monday as part of her Pink Friday: Reloaded tour, and Balotelli, along with a few of his City teammates, went to the concert. He reportedly had arrainged to meet her before the show, but she decided not to at the last minute. "Mario was gutted," Metro reports a source told the Sun. "He's a big fan and turned up with gifts along with his other Man City team-mates. "But Nicki was too tired after the gig and feasted on a massive Nando's order instead -- so he went home disappointed. He’d even bought a camera especially." The 21-year-old City striker is one of the game's biggest stars. He is often seen hanging out with models, rappers and other young, rich and famous people. Apparently Balotelli's fame was not enough to entice Minaj out of her dressing room, and "Super Mario" was brought back to earth ... if only for a moment. However, he'll get another shot to meet her. Minaj will do another show at the MEN Arena on Nov. 2. Maybe Balotelli will take another shot, standing backstage in his famous pose until Minaj gives him some of her time (or a piece of Nando's).
