According to Adam Rosenbloom of MLB.com, both Mark Reynolds and Nate McLouth would like to come back with the Orioles in 2013. “I'd definitely like to come back,” Reynolds said. “This is the most fun I've ever had playing baseball, this group of guys. There's a bunch of ballplayers in this room. No prima donnas, nobody for themselves. Just ballplayers who pull for each other, and who wouldn't want to be in that environment.” The Orioles own an $11 million option on Reynolds and even though it seems expensive, Resenbloom believes that Reynolds “proved himself a valuable asset and a team player” for the Orioles' organization. McLouth came to Baltimore after being released by the Pirates and had a great run with the Orioles, probably the reason why he would like to come back with them in 2013. “Personally, I couldn't have had a better time in the time I've spent here, the two months I've been up here,” he said. “I am appreciative they gave me the opportunity and I had a great time.” Reynolds, 29, hit .221/.335/.429 with 23 HR's, 69 RBI's and a 107 OPS+ in 538 plate appearances with the Orioles this season. The 30-year old McLouth, since his arrival to Baltimore, hit .268/.342/.435 with 7 HR's, 18 RBI's and a 111 OPS+ in 236 plate appearances.
