Mark Sanchez has been battling an injury for the last few weeks, and it’s been reported that Jets rookie Geno Smith would get the start at quarterback in Week 1 against the Buccaneers. The writing may be on the wall for Sanchez, though, if the team’s official depth chart is any indication. Smith, of course, is listed as the team’s starter, followed by Matt Simms and newly signed Brady Quinn. Sanchez? He’s not listed as any string of quarterback. Apparently, the veteran signal caller falls under the category of “other” on the Jets squad. Thought u guys were joking re: #Jets depth chart -- but no. Sanchez is listed as the 'Other' QB behind Simms + Quinn http://t.co/r4la49Fwiz— Kimberley A. Martin (@KMart_LI) September 06, 2013 And before you Debbie Downers try to rain on the parade: @brando7969 @LaMonicaMark Coples is injured. He's listed as the OLB starter -- ahead of Barnes + Solomon.— Kimberley A. Martin (@KMart_LI) September 06, 2013 Filed under: Headlines, NESN Staff,...

Jets owner blames Mark Sanchez for injury

You would think that Woody Johnson might have learned by now how to pick and choose what to say and when to say it.  For Gang Green sakes, even Rex Ryan has turned down the rhetoric and now keeps his words to a minimum —maybe too much so. Either way, on Wednesday, the Jets owner spoke with such cringe worthy carelessness that it revealed just how much the Jets have distanced...
