Melo just told us he won’t play tonite. — Al Iannazzone (@Al_Iannazzone) December 8, 2012   As expected Carmelo Anthony will sit out due to his lacerated but healing finger. Pre-cautionary reasons have Melo out of tonight’s game. This will give some burn to a few guys that would not normally get playing time. The extra playing time is always helpful in the future of the this seasons run. Expect to see some James White and Chris Copeland, depending on the match up as well as extra minutes for Steve Novak who has been playing very well lately. Peter A. Knickswag Chief Editor
