Memphis Grizzlies Looking To Deal O.J Mayo?

For the past year or so Memphis Grizzlies guard O.J Mayo has been the talk of many trades to various destinations. Now it seems that Mayo will have to go through the rigors and pain of possibly getting traded as a new rumor, first reported by Sports Illustrated, has popped up. It is being said through sources that the Grizzlies might actually be looking to deal Mayo and are expecting a No.1 pick in return for the former third overall pick in the 2008 draft. Mayo, who is now coming off the bench for the Grizzlies, has certainly been doing his part for the team this season. Mayo is averaging 24:30 minutes, 11.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. Mayo’s three point percentage this season, 44 percent,  is also up noticeably from his overall average of 38.1 percent.
